ΧΑΙΡΕΤΕ, Ω ΦΙΛΕΛΛΗΝΕΣ

Welcome, Lovers of Greek!

We quite regularly receive requests for translations from and into Ancient or Classical Greek and we are very happy to provide these. Although the basic characters in Ancient Greek look the same as modern Greek characters, Ancient Greek has a large number of diacritic marks, rather like the accents in French, but much more varied and numerous. The only standard WORD font that has the full character set is Palatino Linotype, and accordingly this is the font in which your Greek translation will arrive. Because of the complexities of producing correctly accented Ancient Greek, even in Palatino Linotype, translations take longer and we do not have a standard fee. If you would like a quote for a translation into Ancient Greek, please email the text to thelatintranslator@gmail.com
