We regularly receive requests for translations into Ancient
or Classical Greek and we are very happy to provide these. Although the
basic characters in Ancient Greek look the same as modern Greek characters,
Ancient Greek has a large number of diacritic marks, rather like the
accents in French, but much more varied, numerous and complex. Not all
standard WORD fonts have the full character set for Ancient Greek
installed, and I therefore email Greek translations as .pdf files, so that
as long as you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed you will receive the translation
correctly displayed. Because of the complexities of producing correctly
accented Ancient Greek, translations take a lot longer and we do not have a
